| I'm gonna be trying those nasal strips tonight - been sleeping loads for the past few months but feeling like i'm knackered constantly. Been picking up colds one after another and getting recurrant kidney pain. Missus reckons I've been snoring like fcuk last couple of months whereas I dont normally and havent in the past. Aint been able to get to the doctors, so gonna try these and see what happens. Sick to death of feeling ready to sleep all the time.

| Ali - hope that things sort themselves out soon. Mr V only ever snores when he is poorly, so if he starts I know that the dreaded man flu is on the way. ![]()

| morlspin, without knowing more about your particular case the best remedy I've found is talk to yourself (influence your sub conscious mind). For example, before bed tell yourself to "sleep solid" or if things are on your mind then specifically address that such as making an affirmation to not concern yourself with it until after having a solid sleep - IT WORKS. Oh yes, avoid alcohol prior to bed time. |

| I have trouble sleeping never in bed asleep before 4 and if i go to bed before 3/4 clock i will just lay there for hours and end up just getting out of bed and thinking i'll give it another go tomorrow. I drink a bit to much and i never try to 'actively' switch my brain off until im actually laying in bed - I mean how'd you actively turn switch your brain off anyway? You tried anything to help induce sleep?
