| This all seems a bit dodgy to me, she has fcuked off to Panama a few weeks ago and he suddenly returns from out of the blue. Will keep an interested eye on this story. I bet he fcuked off to clear debts etc and she spent the inheritance.

| According to CEEFAX tonight he has no memory of what happened. Why would he go to a police station then?

| Poor sod...if he was washed up on a beach near Hartlepool then common sense should tell us he was probably shipped off to the local zoo and kept in the monkey enclosure for five years.

| Police investigating the mystery surrounding John Darwin's 'return from the dead' were tipped off about links to the Central American country of Panama three months ago, Sky sources have confirmed. John and Anne vanished in turnPolice are planning to question Mr Darwin's about his disappearance in 2002 and his return on Saturday at a police station in London - six weeks after his wife Anne sold up and left to move to Panama. Sky's north of England correspondent Gerard Tubb said: "They became aware of a connection with Panama in the summer - about the time that Anne Darwin is believed to have gone to the country on holiday. "About that time, too, large amounts of money were transferred between bank accounts." Panama is one of the oldest offshore financial centres in the world and despite some economic and political instability in the past, has remained a popular location. Neighbours in Seaton Carew, near Hartlepool, where the couple lived, claim she had simply told them she had enjoyed a holiday and was thinking of moving abroad. Within weeks her house was sold and she had gone. As Mr Darwin's miracle return to life becomes more intriguing, an increasing number of questions are being asked about his life. It has emerged that shortly before disappearing in 2002 when his red canoe was found smashed up on the north east coast near Seaton Carew, Mr Darwin had sold a house in Witton Gilbert, near Durham for £70,000. The new owner, Gary Walker, said bailiffs repeatedly knocked on the door looking for the former owner. Mr Darwin, meanwhile, has been reunited with his two sons Anthony and Mark, who now live in the London area. Police never closed the missing persons case on the 57-year-old former teacher and prison officer. Back in Witton Gilbert, the new house-owner also said he found between 15 and 20 telephone lines in one bedroom apparently used to play the stock market. It is not yet known whether Mr Darwin's life was insured at the time of his disappearance. His brother David, who lives in north London, told Sky's Paul Brennan that he is "not shocked" that Mr Darwin is alive because he had always hoped that would be the case. But he added: "I have not, and have no wish to, speculate on what has happened." On the other hand, Mr Darwin's father Ronald has contributed to the many theories surrounding the case. The 91-year-old former builder believes a childhood head injury sustained when Mr Darwin was run over by a car may have caused amnesia in later life. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- As Ricky Tomlinson would say: AMNESIA MY ARSE ![]()
I expect him to be locked up soon on some kind of deception charge. ![]()
