Was going to start a thread on best tips with this. I had my good chunk of my Betfair balance on Ratzinger for pope, think I got about 7s. Every man and their dog seemed convinced the fella from Milian was a shoein. Despite me telling that he had no chance. No more popes from italy, those days are gone

You have to ask where's the loyalty? You guys have as you say developed him into an international and the first way of thanking you is to bugger off to your local rivals??

Or maybe we're reading this wrong and your board recognised they'd see less and less of him now he's an England player so thought they'd free up his salary to spend elsewhere?

On the subject of best tips, my shout on the Hatton knockout Vs. Castillo is one I'm a bit proud of. As far as I know it hadn't been tipped up anywhere else when I first posted it.

Exactly the catch 22, im sorta hoping Jones never gets back to full fitness because Glamorgan will never see him if he does. Its scary how quick he could be. Anyone see him on that televised game when he walked up (practically) and bowled 85

I dunno, I think having a Welshman in the England side does wonders for the support of the game and getting youngsters to take it up. Glammy are hopeless anyway and I don't think even a top form Simon Jones could get them promoted.

To get this back on topic I tipped Glamorgan for the Twenty20 this year @ 50/1!

Although, in my defence I did say it was a long shot and only worth £1 each way with hopefully the chance to lay it off later on!

My 1st ever post on PL, a 9 team footy accumulator, I think only 3 or 4 of them won. Doubles and trebles from then onwards. Thread got locked as mods thought I was taking the piss and I started a new thread asking who the fcuk Paul Ross was as he locked my thread. Apologised to Paul by e mail and explained I wasn't taking the mickey or spamming but had failed to read the rules of including reasoning and also not realised that accumulators are a mugs game. Didn't I feel a twat when I find out PR runs the site.

Not totally sure myself. Bound to have tipped a few horrors along the way. Portadown to beat Loughall springs to mind, at around 1/6. They hammered them and lost 1-0. Loughalls only win the entire season.

One I know I was on but not 100% sure I tipped is Stockport to beat Rochdale, and it ended 1-7
