Speed Cameras

Yes...I know all you drivers hate them and they are a tool of the government etc etc.
However...I live in what used to be a quiet village on the outskirts of a city.
Over recent years it has got busier and busier and traffic would whiz down the bloody road at what seemed, to us poor pedestrians, a million mile an hour.
A couple of speed cameras has changed all that...it is now possible to cross the road without having to offer up a prayer first.

I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to religion (all religion) - but fundamentally, what's the core difference in values between a catholic and a protestant? Aren't they basically the same beliefs? With one having the Pope as head of the church, and the other the Queen? If the core values of the different religions are as similar as they seem to be, then it would be a pretty incredible reason to have a war over!!!

In terms of doctrine, the prods reject the concept of transubstantiation and also have issues with the role of Mary. They consider that the catholic church raises her too high and it verges on idolotry.

Pretty sure the uvf never shot anyone saying, "take that you transubtantiatist idolodrist bastard!!" * Land and Political power are the real causes.

To answer a point from before, I know the Celts were romanised, it's the whole King Arthur thing.
