Default TV theme tunes

ok we've had 'you fav tune at the moment thread'

but Ive quite a lot of TV theme tune that I like.

4400 is a nice tune albet a bit 'dark'
some of the old 80's tunes where cracking tunes,

God I loved the 80's for TV.
IMHO it was thebest decade for TV.

Waylon Jennings Dukes of Hazard etc
Hill St Blues was another as was Cheers,'everyone knows your name'

of course miami vice was a decent tune for its time...

any others?

The best theme tune of all time has to be Chip 'N' Dale! I've got the full length Disney version, its about three and a half minutes of pure gold!
Also the Baywatch theme tune is pretty damn awesome!

I used to love the 'Fall Guy' theme tune.
And by the magic of google here are the lyrics:
Quote:
Well, I'm not the kind to kiss and tell,
But I've been seen with Farrah.
I'm never seen with anything less than a nine, so fine.

I've been on fire with Sally Field,
Gone fast with a girl named Bo,
But somehow they just don't end up as mine.

It's a death defyin' life I lead,
I take my chances.
I die for a livin' in the movies and TV.
But the hardest thing I ever do
Is watch my leadin' ladies
Kiss some other guy while I'm bandagin' my knee.

I might fall from a tall building,
I might roll a brand new car.
'Cause I'm the unknown stuntman that made Redford such a star.

I never spend much time in school
But I taught ladies plenty.
It's true I hire my body out for pay, Hey Hey.

I've gotten burned over Cheryl Tiegs,
Blown up for Raquel Welch.
But when I end up in the hay it's only hay, Hey Hey.

I might jump an open drawbridge,
Or Tarzan from a vine.
'Cause I'm the unknown stuntman that makes Eastwood look so fine.
Superb

Yeh Cagney and Lacey is good and also Benny Hill. I always liked Beverley Hillbillies and from watching kids programmes I liked Balamory, Ripley and Scuff and Captain Pugwash. Percy The Park Keeper is by far the best childrens theme tune though imo. Used to like Big John, Little John too if anyone can remember that and also the first them tune used for the Horizon series.
