Hi all, i have tried to register twice for sports punter and i know i can add good knowledge and tips yet both times they have not activated my accounts, in the part where they want to say why u should be a member im explaining how i would use good tips to the best of my knowledge etc, any idea of what i should write guys as i really want to join? many thanks.

I'd say avoiding text-talk would be a good place for "u" to start.

I have emailed them four times twice for each attempted account to open and they haven't got back to me once, it is very frustrating, any reading some tips i dont know why they would mind the odd 'U' when some people struggle to speak english yet are posting tips

I think they're getting a real lot wanting to sign up but not enough vacancies.

This question came up earlier I think, and the above was something like the reason given? Is there an explanation within the sign up instructions to this effect?

hi ashtee, on the sign up they just say give good reasoning and one line reasoning wont be accepted, i wouldnt mind and understand if they say there are too many people at the moment, it's the fact there is no notice saying this and they haven't got the decency to email back

Cut them some slack Jamie, have you seen how much work is going on in all the numerous sections on here - I'm sure they'll respond to you in good time. I have also applied, maybe a couple of months ago, but I realise these things take time, and when there is a space available then we'll hear something.

Hi Jamie,

I own Sports-Punter.com but someone else runs it for me these days.

We get tons of applications, so what we do is choose the immaculate ones now. The applications that show people know what they're talking about and aren't just talking rubbish. You'll be amazed how many bad applications there are.

Regarding the decency to email back.

We would be emailing all day every day, that's just not feesible.

Tipsters are accepted or not, at the end of the month. What we say is if you haven't heard from us shortly after this, then your application hasn't been accepted.

Can you tell me your sign up name so I can see your application?

its a little different for people who dont speak english as a first language compared to those who do and choose not to


perhaps you could start posting your tips on here in the relevant places and enhance your reasoning to be included on SP

Paul, a couple of the ATR guys tried to get in too and havnt heard anything either, i know Tedthewolf appiled twice and was knocked back.

Seems strange to me because there isnt as many as years gone by in the competition from what the overall table shows, are you cutting back on numbers?
Maybe with guys like fallon having 50 bets a day its hard enough as it is, if you need a hand give us a shout mate.

Thanks for replying Paul, i appreciate your honesty and nice to know why haven't had a reply etc. My last name i tried under was wiseman, if my application isn't impressive enough then i understand, just wanted reasoning. Thanks again.

One of the best applications I've seen in a long long time, although not what we actually asked for.

What the application is for, is give us an example of one of your tips and the reasoning behind it.

It's not rocket science, just show us you know what you're talking about and that you'll put up good quality tips and you're in.

You sound like you're quite a bit more than average Kaiser, so you're in.

What I've always wanted to avoid on SP is this:

Man utd will win because their good at home and Derby are bad away.

It's garbage, I'm sure you'll agree.
