Cannot believe that. Dreadful customer service that is. Maybe if you keep up the complaints/letters etc mate you might get it done in the end...?

Feel for you mate, Sky customer services could make an dyslexic gorilla look competant, ar$eholes

We are in the unfortunate position of not having an ariel on the roof, all our signal comes through the sky box so no sky = no telly and it costs a fortune nowdays to get an ariel put up.

Tell you, the minute we get cable round here I'm signing up for one of their complete packages

sky, fcuk em

They'll be in touch soon....everything will be sorted for free!

Happened to me when I had a 'Blue Screen' which is great for Rangers fans but not for me....told them to cancel my subs immediately after being told it would cost me for them to send out someone!

After receiving my letter they phoned me and ended up sending someone free off charge with a new box....they won't want to lose you!

I can believe it Gaz after what happened to me last year.

Last Feb I introduced a friend to Sky on the promise we would get M&S vouchers...we are still waiting.

Last June I went to cut my package down and was offered the full package for 3 months at half price signed up to it and in the August my subs went back up to the full price.

I rang them to be told the offer ended at the end of July. So I was sold a 3 month package by Sky knowing it would only last 1 month.

In the August I got it cut off after spending 1 and a 1/2 hours on the phone to their customer services.

I keep getting letters and phone calls asking me to sign back up with them and to cap it all I had a knock on the door on a Friday night 2 weeks ago. There was a bird on the doorstep from Sky asking why I had cut if off and would I sign back up.

I told her everything but as usual nothing has been done.

So to Sky I just want to say.

My parents sky got blown up with lightning and thunderstorms and sky warranty had just run out but they had been with Sky from day one, before it ever went digital. They refused to provide a new box and wanted about £65 just to send a technician to look at it. They cancelled it in my dads name, re signed up in my mums and got a free new box. 2 month later they ring up offering a new box to replace the damaged one, thick fcukers. You can only sign up to sky in 1 name so just cancel it and sign up in your partners name if they fcuk you around.

Orange (previously Freeserve) Broadband isn't much different for charges. They are the only company I have ever used and I pay £22-99 per month, but I keep getting cards through the door offering Broadband AND Free phone line rental for just £12 a month. When I phoned them I spent half the fcuking day waiting for answers from different people. With no joy.

They're all the same.

I spent all morning on the phone to Virgin a few weeks back. Arranged for self-install which is where you already have the sockets and they just send you the box and stuff for you to fit yourself. Arranged delivery for between 7 and 9 in the morning. Still hadn't turned up at 10, so I called them to see where it was and they gave me the number of the courier and told me to chase it up myself. Cheeky fcukers.

What got my back up even more was when I asked for the customer 'service' girls 2nd name and which office she worked in (I make a point of ALWAYS getting this info now as in the past telesales/service people have told me packs of lies with no comeback as they're virtually untraceable by 1st name alone) she refused point blank to give it to me. Cheeky fcuking cnut. So I asked for her supervisor, 'supervisors not available'. grrrrrrrr

So then whenever she tried to speak I just said 'supervisor', took about 30 seconds but she put her on in the end. I hate these fcuking cnuts.

Another thing that pisses me off is how they're all so fcuking jobsworth. These are people doing a shit job and being treat like shite by companies that pay them peanuts, but they're brainwashed into being absolutely loyal. It's nuts.

Im usually quick of the mark to slate Virgin but must give them their dues recently.

Phoned them to drop the movies package and add on NASN and the whole job was done easily and hassle free in less than 5 mins. About 2 hrs later I had NASN. Also needed to order a new remote as one of ours is buggered . Order placed straight away and recieved in the post within a week.

£23 p/m mate. I am on £14.99 p/m !!

Might be worth giving them a call and asking them to change. With any luck you might get someone British but I wouldnt hold your hopes too high. Believe it or not, the foreigners I have spoken to tend to be more knowledgable than the Brits anyway !!

If you ask to cancel I am sure they will want to keep you and give you what you want mate. They are like that but if you speak to someone higher up they tend to be more willing to give you what you want in order to keep you as a customer.

already got my disconnection date 12th may...tossers can shove it up their arses, might even get a chipped box..or just move everything to virgin, my broadbands there and never had any probs....is ridiculous especially when new customers can get it for £49.99 or even free just another kick in the balls for exsisting customers.

My email was read last night at 20.21, still no-one has replied, so I have just forwarded the receipt back to their customer services with the quote " I see your response time is as good as your customer loyalty ".

I am a virgin customer but was pretty angry when i got hme to watch the footie & they sports was off, phoned them & the lady said "you want me to put it back on", i didnt think anything of it & just said yes, I want it back on as i want to watch the footie, 3 weeks later i get a bill with an extra £18 a month for skysports! Rang them up & they said "the deal you signed uo for in December didnt include Sports, so we cut it off" (in Feb!!). Give them some credit they refunded my £18 even though i had watched it all that month as i said i didnt realise i would be charged as i thought my package included it. I emailed them to complain I was mis sold a contract. A guy rang me back within 24 hrs & offered me a package for £65 which included V+ but no Skysports (still an extra £18). I refused & said i would go to Sky, they then gave me thier retentions number who said they could probably do a better deal as they were the last option before you to Sky, they offered me the same package for £48 instead of £65 without any probs, so i got BB, V+ TV, Multi room & free unlimited calls, so pretty happy with that although still need to pay £18 a month to get Skysports back up.

Pity there isnt more competition to challenge these 2 to make them think more about their customers.

All the big comps are the same, B Gas, Abbey, had probs with all over last few years & not impressed with any of them. Used to work for BT & stayed loyal to them until i left.

One for the Mrs to sort out. On the phone, nobody understands me apart from other cockneys.

To be fair, Sky Anytime is pretty sh*te anyway. I guess you should have what all new customers get though.
