Default Saw 3

Just been to see this, very good.
If you remember how the 2nd one ends that's how the 3rd one begins. Good twisted plot again and really gory in parts. I nearly brought my tea back up. If you enjoyed the first 2 you'll definitely like this. Some quality contraptions and a whole world of pain.
And of course there is another final twist at the end.

Anyone else seen it and what did you think?

Exactly what we have just done. Left baby with my parents and went out for a few hours. I hope you have a strong stomach mate. I have to wonder how fcuked up the people are that write the plots, they have really weird ideas and imaginations.
Have you seen the first 2 Alexmac, very clever films, you might be surprised.

one part of my training i remember was standing in on an operation - i was amazed to see them split open the guts and just plonk the intestines on the guys chest whilst they had a poke around.

no problem with that but my stomach was rumbling through the whole thing

they are clever plots and, for me, can be distinguished form the run of the mill stuff

No, Ive not. But my old flatmate loved the Saw films and has told me all about them. I just do not find things THAT gory to be entertaining.

Talk about the directors/writers being sick... what about the folk who turn up to watch the film!!!!

I'm the same Alex, i can cope with reality, watching the dentist gouging out teeth and stitching up gums.

Seen a horse with it's legs ripped to bits, bones showing and arteries spurting blood everywhere but show me a gory film and i'm ill.

Even the thought that these films exist disturbs me

I didn't think the first film was very gory at all (I'm not that sick honest ). When I saw the trailer and the "dare you see saw" signs I imagined some nutcase running around with a saw ala Texas Chainsaw Masacre, but it's nothing like that. Like mowgli says they are very clever films and certainly worth a watch. Will be going to watch the new one soon, cheers for the quick review Mowgli

The 1st wasn't too gory but there are a few parts in this that make your stomach churn. Without ruining the plot there is a brain operation, a contraption with hooks all over the body and the beginning where someone makes a sacrifice to get free from the chains around his ankle.
You'll know what I mean after you see it. There's also a really twisted part where a bloke needs to get a key but has to see his dead childs possessions burnt in an incinerator 1st. That's not very nice.

Me and the girlfriend left the cinema with 2 different views of the ending. I thought there will be no more Saw films, she thinks there will be a Saw 4.
PM me when you've seen it and explain what you thought of the ending.

I personally can't wait to see this. Like previous posts have said, the first two films are very clever. I especially liked the twist at the end of the second film.

If the third is anywhere near as clever in the sotry then it will be worth watching for sure.

Now I just have to convince the g/f that she really does want to see it

Five hours for just you and the wife Alliando

Food and Cinema will take around 3 hours so have planned something to do for the remaining two hours?

Loved the first 2 movies and didn't even realise there was a Saw 3 so will definitely be a must see!

Went along to see this last night. Surpringsly it's the girlfriend that likes these kinda films. I wanted to go see the departed which my mates had raved about but at least I didn't get dragged along to the devil wears prada like one of them

Wasn't that impressed with it to be honest I think they went for all out gore this time trying to come up with the most grusome ways of killing people off then fitting some kinda plot around it. I did like the first 2 films but was dissapointed with this one and as with the first 2 they tried putting some kinda twist on it on the end but again it wasn't impressive as the first 2. Think this was rushed out for Halloween as I don't think it was that long ago I was at the pics to see Saw 2. The lack of storyline was showed by the fact that they seemed to be what could be considered deleted scenes from the first 2 films in this one to add on some mins to the film.

Saw ain't hacking it anymore!

well, we saw it last night and i have to admit to being a little dissapointed - it was good but not quite on par with the first 2. its worth seeing but its more of a tieing up loose ends film, but it was saved with a reasonably good ending
