... in thinking that BBC Breakfast TV presenter, Bill Turnbull, is a Grade A tosser?

I've thought this for a while now, ever since he took over the Monday to Thursday slot from Dermot. The condescending way he nods his head at "serious" news items, the way he sits, the way he talks, the naff way he deals with the jokey, "non-serious" items - it's the complete package.

It's really unusual for me to have such a dislike for someone I've never met, and I acknowledge that perhaps I am far from my best first thing in the morning, hence more likely to take umbrage at slight things. However, I remember that Billy Connolly used to have a great stand-up sketch, where he described how he thought that Henry Kelly was a dog-fondler, and I keep thinking back to that as I see BT on the box, and imagine him with a little dachshund behind the table, just by his feet.

Anyone else have similar feelings (about the man, not the dog)?

Personally I don't mind him....but don't get me started on that bint Carol Kirkwood. That annoying accent going on about clouds bubbling up........

aye, Turnbull#s a tosser. But what do you expect from the beeb? They're so 'right on' they're not worth bothering with. Every morning its the same. 5 minutes of nes, with an outrageously 'on message' angle followed by half an hour of scaremongering 'do carrots cause cancer' bullshit.
