John Prescott has spoken publicly for the time since revealing he suffered from bulimia while he was deputy prime minister.

Suffered bulimia for 10 years

Mr Prescott said he had found it difficult to admit to the eating disorder because of the "shame and embarrassment".
But after suffering with it for about 10 years, he said he managed to control it and stop it a few years ago. The doctors who treated him said his condition was probably due to stress.
The Labour politician, 69, has urged the millions of people who have the eating disorder to "not suffer in silence and be more open about it and seek medical help as I did".

I thought this was a joke thread.... Havn't seen the news this weekend. Been uber busy getting ready for exams etc at school.

Must have taken some guts to come public with this - I guess it was more likely about to break in the News Of The World and he came up with it...?
