I've watched hundreds of films for serial killers. This is one is good. Not something great, but still I liked it. The character of Mr. Brooks is noting compared to the killer in No Country For Old Men, but still decent movie and decent play by Kevin Costner.

P.S. Happy Birthday

Costner seems to be making somewhat of a comeback which is good as for the most part I like and have always enjoyed his stuff.

Not the worse but the sheer cost of it compared to takings ranks it up with the biggest flops

Yeah, took me a long time to watch Dances with Wolves but to be fair it's a cracking pic!

Last one I watched with him in was good. Befriended a widow of mate after he died. Doesn't sound funny but it was....although bit of a chick flick!

What are the rules? How is the nominating done? Every week?

Well so far it's been pretty lax as not many people bothering. Idea would be for one film a week and take it in turns to nominate a film for the entire group to watch and give comments on. Don't watch the nominated film and you don't get a chance to nominate one yourself...but....like I said, it hasn't been all that successful until now.

Perhaps the recent interest can turn things around.

We all finished with Mr Brookes? What is the general concensus?
