You out to be kidding me, he is doing just fine, I mean we used to kick everyone around here, with a lot of goal difference. But they just tied in Panama, was that???

I mean the one that is really making things very well is USA, I mean apart from defeat in Mexico, they have swept all others competitors, last two games 3-0 and 0-3 both wins.

Maybe if things continue like this and Mexico looses in Heskey as could happen, then United States will go as number 1.

Hi Xcout

Mexico is one place I would love to visit. It is good to see users on PL from all around the world.

I specialise in UK football betting so I am sure we will be able to swap ideas and tips between the uk leagues, and the U.S. and mexican ones.

When do their football seasons start and finish, and which bookies do you place bets with for mexico and the MLS?

Hi Winbet!

If you will like to visit, you are welcome to came here. I have notice tough that from America there are really not many users, more of them are from Europe. But well the good thing is here I am.

I think that one important thing is to be able to swap ideas with other people, they can spot something you might have miss.

For Mexico:
The season is divided in two, one Clausura, from January to May, and Apertura from August to December. Played in a three or four group format (all the teams play against the others) and then a playoff format. Right now 18 teams.

For USA:
The season stars in April and finish in November, first a group stage (but all the teams get to play with everyone) and then playoff style.
Right now 12 teams.

For both I used Bet365.

Okay, signed up for this forum ages ago, but never bothered with it. Till now.

Just a few questions:
Who are the tipsters/posters to listen to here?
What sports have the best contributers?
Who should be avoided like the plague?

I bet on football, horses and Irish sports (Gaelic football and hurling) myself, occasionally dabbling in tennis (but am going to cut that out because I don't know enough about it).

to PL Misternando.

It would be wrong to say listen to this person or don't listen to him, so take a look around and make your own mind up, there are LOTS of shrewd punters on here though.

Just read all the posts and make your own mind up but a few lads in the Horse section are quality.
Tanky/Ralphie/ODM and manckevin is doing great with his placepots.
Just look around mate.

Thanks lads, didn't expect such a swift reply.

Paul Ross, if there's a whole swathe of posters putting up advice and tips, finding out who are the sharpest ones can help me cut the wheat from the chaff. I don't have time to scroll through everyone's posts and get to know their characteristics etc. A little bit of steering is very useful when settling into a community like this.

I know what you mean, but at the same time it would be unfair to single out people too.

Take a look at www.sports-punter.com (PL sister site) too, you will see PL members on their also, this will probably help you.
