???? is always asking questions, and !!!! never stops shouting. Do you know (((( and )))) ? They are related, twins, I think, but not identical.

I don't know much about ???? ......he's a bit of a mystery.

What's the betting scene like, over in Malta?

Someone more sane will be along in a minute, hopefully...it's just unfortunate for you that I escaped from my padded cell, this morning..and I was the first PL'er you met.

I suppose that being Maltese, you live on an 'island', like me, (Jersey).

As for the betting situation in Malta, the only local bookie will only take trebles, and then only on 1x2, double chance, HT, HT/FT type of bets.
Odds for bankers are usually lower than those that can be found on the net.

However after reading that online bookies will limit stakes / ban regular winners, I realize that the situation is not as bad as it could be.

In Malta all bets are completely anonymous and there's no way with which they could ever stop someone from betting.

Hi, again, ----, (or can I call you -- for short?!! ), interesting facts from Malta....good to learn about other folk's betting situations....I understand that you may have one of our U.K. bookies based in Malta, operating from over there...favourable tax (dodge!), situation... their are one or two U.K. set ups here, on our sister Channel islands of Guernsey and Alderney.

Are you on the same time line as us, (GMT),? It's around 11 a.m. over here, sunny day, mild for the time of year.

Good job you can bet on the internet, it sounds very restrictive over there.

Just been for a bike ride...trouble is, on an island 5 miles x 8 miles ( no foreign Kilometre things here!), you can't ride more than a few miles in a straight line or you'll end up in the sea....

I would imagine that Malta is quite a lot bigger....


Don't suppose you can get the Sky Sports TV signal over there...?

Malta uses CET (ie GMT +1)

as for our size, we're bigger than 5 x 8 miles but the population is much bigger too. There are 400,000 ppl crammed in an island 9 x 20 miles (plus a smaller island named Gozo)

Regarding Sky TV, we can get it if we really wanted to but it's way too expensive (for me at least) Whenever I need to watch a match I just go to a pub.
