| Some of you may have seen the music video on the music video channels where a skeleton is gambling in Las Vegas. Personally, I love it. Video's online and the tune ain't bad either (Radio One are going postiively gaga over it). Braund Reynolds - Rocket |

| DAVID LIVE...David Bowie. Originally released in 1975, this album contains many great tracks. Has recently been released on CD, with several tracks added to make the complete concert. An excellent album...an absolute must get for any ''early 70s'' fan of Bowie. {Fans who like his early music, not people who are over 70!}

| Autamata - only the single so far "Liberty Bell" steals the bass from Pearl Jam's "Rearview Mirror" and does it justice. The album is called "Short Stories" and will be on my Christmas list along with Gorillaz and the best Irish album in 2005 "Flock" by Bell X1. If you're a muso listen to "Rocky Took A Lover" and feel the quality !! Saw them live in June with Snow Patrol and they outshone the head-liners. This is my subjective opinion, so don't bite my head off ! ! ! |

| been listening to some illegal bootlegs of his bobness off the net, from the net! (never ending tour) nothing short of brilliant, even his last shows, man even if this guy sung with his throat slit he'd be brilliant. Got to catch him live before god forbids he passes away, won't forgive myself if i dont. |

| I normally hate hip-hop stuff, but the Gym Class Heroes album is fantastic - especially Taxi Driver, killer lyrics as they work the names of almost every indie group around into a song, and Cupid's Chokehold, sampling Supertramp's Breakfast in America. Other classic album so far this year IMO is Belle & Sebastian's The Life Pursuit, with new single the Blues are still Blue being particularly awesome ![]() |

If you can imagine a less gay Keane, a happier Coldplay a not so cheesy Embrace and a more creditable Shed 7 then thats pretty much Morning Runner. Maybe. Stand out tracks are; 8. Be all you want me to be 6. Oceans, and the best track on the album by miles; 4. Burning Benches. You can watch the video to Burning Benches here. It's a bit contrived but if you don't want to get up, shout, and punch the wall at precisely 2:29 into the song, you're no homosapien, mon brave. You can watch all of the videos from their website. N.B. I am in no way affiliated to the band, just love my music. ![]()

| I'm pretty sure MR are supporting them for their forest gigs, We're going to see them at Dalby Forest and MR are playing there. Placebo were live up here t'other night at the academy - my friends given very good reviews of them. I been a regualr at leeds festival since the 'V festival' days at temple newsam. To be honest, in my eyes, each year @ leeds has got worse, they seem to just want to pack as many people in as they can. I've got about 7 pre-festival gigs coming up and much rather go see them than 35 minute-noencore-offasfastasyoucan sets like they are at leeds. My tip for 2006 is the Guillemots. Check out trains for Brazil

| Also, y'all should buy sufjan stevens album called Illinoise. It's absolutly superb. My album of last year withut a shadow of doubt. Haunting vocals, catchy tunes and that special something u cant put ur finger on. Was on many critics albums albums of 2005 and deservedly so. Amazing.

| Listening to Gnarls Barkely: St. Elsewhere at the minute. If you haven't heard Crazy by now chances are you're either deaf or 6 foot under, IMO it's one of the outstanding singles of the last 10-15 years and a rare credible number 1 - a welcome catharsis to the likes of Chico and the Crazy Frog. It definitely puts me in a mind of Stevie Wonder before he started singing over-emotional claptrap, and that can't be a bad thing. The album's a bit more complex though - it has flashes of genius, twisted beats and wordplay between moments of humdrum where it seems to be getting a bit too self-indulgent in it's own inventiveness to the point of being positively middle of the road. I downloaded it (as I always do) to see if it was worth buying as I'm loathe to buy on the strength of a good single, and I can definitely say I won't be buying.

| Just bought the new Snow Patrol album, very good, especially like the single, an instantly likeable track that could have come straight from the last album. As for concerts saw The Editors and Hard-Fi live in one weekend. Editors were great, singer has a fantastic voice live and they were like a better version of Coldplay. Their album is definitely worth buying. Hard-Fi started off a bit poor but got better, they just seemed a bit false when trying to work the crowd (are you louder than london etc) but Living for the weekend was good.
