Default Most annoying phrase in the English language...

Got anything smaller?

Been asked this three times this week. Bussing it in to work cause sams got the car. Get on the bus monday morning, ask for a day ticket, £4, so I hand over a tenner.

Got anything smaller?

eh? it's a fcuking £4 bus ticket. Yeah mate I've got £4 in change right here, it's just that I prefer to feel the weight in my pockets

Went into marks and sparks for a bottle of pop and some crisps. Came to £2. Hand over a tenner.

Got anything smaller?

What do you think I am a fcuking bank? Do you think I enjoy breaking into £10 notes just for the fun of it?

Then he comes out with a killer.

Do you mind if I give you all pound coins, I've only got one £5 note.

Yeah mate, fill me up Of course I mind you cretin, just give me the fiver, it's worth as much in my pocket as it is in your till.

Sorry. Just had to get this off my chest.

Wouldn't get me from Yarm to Billingham though

Don't live in the west mids anymore mate, I moved 5 weeks ago. Living in the North East, and I have to say I'm liking it so far. Especially the lack of traffic and being close to the seaside.

Only for a week while Sam's down in Birmingham with the car.

Bugger today though, left my keys at work and didn't realise till I got home. By the time I bussed it back everyone had gone home and my keys were now locked in my office.

Only person left working was the finance director who got me in then gave me a lift home. Bloody nice chap, for a South African.

I never get trains these days but had to get one on way to Millwall last Saturday.

Got to the ticket office, asked for a travelcard (£5 odd) - gave her £50 note.

"Ain't you got nuffin smaller?"

Of course I haven't, otherwise you would've be given it. I looked over and I saw hundreds of pounds in 20s and tenners - so what was the f*cking problem.

"Obviously not" I said.

She gave me the change. Really gave me the hump.

I really REALLY hate when I hear someone telling a story along these lines...

"...so A turned round and said blah de blah... so B turned round and said..... well A didn't like that so she turned round and said...."

All that turning round must make them fecking dizzy!!!
