I've always wanted to go to a proper London pie and mash shop where they have the eel and parsley liquor poured over the food. I'll do it one day.

Next time your in town BA, I'll take you to the best Pie 'n Mash shop in London.

Double pie, single mash with a side plate of stewed eels all smotherd in liquor.

M.Manze was established in 1902 by Michele Manze - the present owners' Grandfather.
We serve traditional Pie & Mash and Eels (jellied or stewed), in authentic surroundings. At Manzes, we still use the same recipes today for the pies and liquor as were used in 1902
So whats the reason on having Pie and Mash( I hope its the mash Im thinking) and jellied eels.

Did a poor fisherman once thought ah fook me ill have that eel with my pie and mash?

Stewed Eels

The liquor is made from pasley, corn flour, water from the potatoes and some say a secret ingrediant
