Northumberland where i did the great north bike ride last sunday.

Did the 55 miles down the coast in 4 hours - got a great feeling from it and want to do it again next year!

Took the week off to recover and enjoy some of the countryside up there - beautiful.

55 miles..........I could just about manage 55 yards on a bike these days.

Cheers fellas!

It wasn't too bad. Do a 7 mile round trip on the bike to work everyday so that helped. Also, the scenery (at least in the firsy 35 or so miles) takes your mind off the pain! Once you get into the "groove" you seem to be able to go for miles.

Me, my brother, old man and friend raised over £400 for the charity www.chrislucastrust.com too so all is good!

Me and my friend are on about doing it next year on a tandem dressed as the chuckle brothers!

Did it last year, fantastic day out and some great scenery on the way too.
Glad you enjoyed it, it's a great trip.
