are you making a profit though?

if you are, then you should be able to get yourself out of debt - if you're not, then is it worth continuing?

Can't you make one cash withdrawl from the card. Deposit it in your bank account then use a debit card. So only one cash withdrawl charge?

Mine hasn't. I can move what I like back and forth on my debit card. It's my money, not the banks money.

When credit cards started charging 3% on deposits to Beftair I closed those accounts down within one week.

I know that credit cards have been charging gambling transactions as cash advances for about two years - have a search on the forum and you'll see lots of threads about it.

No need to 'shout', or was your caps lock stuck?

Regardless, for as long as I was a winning poker player, I never had to make constant balance transfers from my e-wallet to my poker site. I left the money there so that I avoided these charges until it was absolutely necessary that I had to withdraw.

If (and I say if cos I don't know for sure, obviously) you're a winning trader, and you need to withdraw back to your card each week, then you will have to take these charges on the chin until such time you're more financially solvent, and can use a cheaper alternative.

i havent been getting charged as much as others on this board. what its says on my statement is

'interest on cash at 1.9% a month'

this only appears once on the bill. i was only getting charges something like 7 or 8 pound until this month. it went up to about 19 pound. in june, i was leaving my money in sportsbook accounts for weeks on end

Could you send the money from your credit card to an eWallet like Neteller or Moneybookers? Not sure if there would be a charge for that but then you could move it between places easily.
