I have a parents forum over on proboard and im finding it very glitchy...I have 42 members and im now thing of moving my forum over to and ezboard one...as I like the way PL works..I have signed up for a trial board (free) but i see that its $30 for 6 months...I don't mind maybe paying this...can a forum make me money tho on ezboard through advertising ect??

If anyone can give me any advice it would be much appreciated thanks

Hi Liana

Had a little experience with me own board last year. Have to say I had pretty much no luck in getting any money out of it. You will need a much larger membership to make any banner ads pay, most ads are a pay per click system, and the amount per click is pretty dismal. What you could do is the same as we used to do here on the PL, ask your members for a small contribution towards the cost of the place......?

Yeah, the only real income you can make thru banner ads is with loans, gambling or porn, and I'm not sure they are best suited for your kind of board

Maybe loans are though
