Up until last week i'd never heard of this guy. He is a comedy singer who has a look of Elvis Costello about him and a very weird and wonderful imagination. Someone at work played me some of his "songs" and he is also on myspace. I had a look on youtube for some of his videos and these 2 are pretty funny:

He writes his setlist on his arms and just goes off on a tangent most of the time, he's playing at the 1 in 12 club soon in Bradford. I might have to just go to experience one of his 'gigs', some of the stuff about Bradford is spot on and very funny.

He'll also leave you with disturbing images of White Supremacist Polar Bears and Pingu wanking in his igloo over Penguin Porn.

Definitely one for the Bradfordians, I think, but he's so quirky, he COULD just take off, if you could find a station that allowed swearing

I listened to a CD of his tracks last summer when I drove to Scotland with one of his young (20-ish years old) fans, into his Special Brew and skank. He's seen him about 3 or 4 times, and reckons he is even better live.

Loved his "Shabby Muffin" song, and most of the others are worth more than one listen.

12th September appears to be the date for the gig.
