| Next door seems to have got an infestation of the ***** and they are pissing me off no end (the starlings not the neighbours). Have managed to get into my loft, and when they got access to the loft and the hatch got lifted in the winter the fcukers got into the house itself. All they seem able to do is shit everywhere. They shat everywhere when they broke into the house, shat all over the cars when outside the house. So how do I get rid of the fcuking things? Can I set traps and treat them like mice? Get the local yobs round with their air rifles? Maybe even poison the bloody things? |

| You could try and spook them away with a silhouette of a Sparrow Hawk. You can get the ones you put on your windows to prevent birds from flying into them, it might be enough to keep them away ? Although I actually watched our starlings chasing a Sparrow Hawk off yesterday ![]() Wait till the Elderberries are out, that purple shite you see all over your windows and cars is from the Starlings ![]() |

| Starlings can't come into the garden two at at a time like normal fcuking birds, They arrive mob handed like yobs in hoodies, and then nick all the food before Sparrows, Blackbirds, Doves, Robins and Thrushes, and anything else, can get a look in. They can't hop daintily about the garden, No, not these cnuts, they have to fcuking strut about as though they own the place. Well they fcuking don't !! Worse than fcuking wasps, and I'm gonna kill a few of the bastards off this year.

| Ive just put some bread out for them and sat a couple of feet away. The adults are really quite nice with all the shiny turquoise colours catching the sunlight. They must be one of the cleanest birds too, as they are always in our birdbaths. They do like a good bickering session though don't they. ![]() |

| build a mock-up train in the attic and ask Paul round - chances are you're starlings will be no more (possibly along with all the kittens, puppies and hamsters in the street) ![]()
