Default Anyone else Brassic?

I'm absolutely skint.
I hate the way the christmas wage falls, I don't get paid till monday which will be a clear 6 weeks since I last got paid. I can be prudent when I need to be but I just can't survive 6 weeks on what I let myself have after I've tipped up to the nag. Roll on Sandown.

I'm lucky enough to get paid every 4 weeks, regardless of Christmas but I will still be glad when this monday comes!!

Car Tax is due as is the MOT plus it needs a service.

I had to give 300quid to the baliffs last week (very long story) but at least I dont have anymore red letters coming now and Im paying x amount per month. Its all council tax related and the Town hall fcuked up but like I said long story.

Hopefully this year I will get striaght and start more work on the house etc but Im just getting over the xmas period also.

I hate being skint

I've just had a red letter from the inland revenue threatening to take legal action over £30 I owe them from 4 years ago. I'll pay it, I suppose it'll go to keeping a family of Albanian illegals in cigs for a day or 2 whilst they're waiting for their appeal to go through.

same here - monies really tight, but part of that is the impending child arriving - not even born and barclaycard are rubbing their hands.... I'm doing 40 hours extra this week in work, mixing nights and days and I feel dead on my feet already - nevermind, I've only got 70 hours left to do until Thursady when I get a couple of days off.....

roll on a few years time when my loan finishes and hopefully my 'gambling-to-get-me-out-of-nursing' plans are further down the line...

Looking forwrad to the joys of fatherhood?

My lads taken to getting up at 6 every morning, and he's at an age now where he's running around like a madman ALL the time. God I'm tired.

I'm fcuking cacking myself - I've held a baby for less than 30 seconds - that's my entire dealings with children since I left school. I've absolutley no idea where to start. Thankfully the wife used to work on a mother and baby unit, her mum was a childminder and she likes kids, so I've got a mentor! I'm gonna be more petrified by the baby than it'll be of me.

everyone at work and my mates keep telling me that if its anything like me, it's gonna cause me hell - apparently, expectant mums should feel around 10 seperate movements each day for a healthy baby. She gave up counting at 140 and that was at 10am - TAXI!!!!

off topic I know but Aliandos post made me laugh a bit.

I remember my first child coming along,I was shitting it also but i felt like Id won the lottery (now ive won it 4 times) the thing is after the child is born you think of all the toys you can get for him/her and 'play' with them etc.

But for the first 8-9 months this is what they do

cry-sleep-cry-eat-shit-sleep-shit-sleep-cry-eat.

Now of course my youngest is 3 and my boy is 6 so im either knee deep in bobbles/makeup and dolls or kicking my lads ass at fifa 2006

they drive you insane at times but I would hate it not to have kids as it makes me who I am today.

sorry for the off-topic post.
