Angry To all cat lovers

Anyone any tips for getting them to stop crapping in the garden when their your own cats??

Only want answers from cat lovers please so quips such as kick em and put them in a binbag etc won't be welcome!

It's infuriating. When the missus is there I can only apply the softly softly approach which yields nothing. When the missus goes out I tell them off a bit more and just end up scaring the shite out of them before trying to make up.

Next time they need to go to the toilet they're out crapping in the garden again! And I thought gravel would be so easy.....there's a lesson

To be fair one of the cats seems to have cottoned on what the litter tray that's suddenly appeared is for. The other, I have come to the conclusion is either thick or malicious

It's exactly the same as trying to get them to stop scratching the stairs by replacing the old cat scratching post and buying a new all singing/all dancing one. For ages they wouldn't go near it until the female started to cotton what it was all about and now I often hear her happily scratching the sh*t out of her scratching pole. Brilliant....but why does he have to be so damn stubborn

Placed him in the tray this morning and you'd have thought I was trying to flush him down the toilet

So....anybody with any tips.....pleeeeasssseee.....pretty pleeeaaaassssseee!!!!!!????????????????

I have exactly the same problem with my 2 cats. Have literally just come inside from spraying all the borders with a spray I picked up at our local garden centre.

Have to put it on every 2 weeks or so, but so far so good . NOt harmful to plants, veg or the cats, but keeps them away a treat

Steve.

IMHO, I think it's better it craps in your garden than your neighbours??? We had an irate neighbour round the other day saying she was at her wits end with our cat constantly doing his turds in HER garden!!!

Before we moved I didn't know where they were crapping. Thing is we've got a nice low maintenance gravel garden now and they bury it so you don't know it's there until the smell kicks in.

By then you might have people over.

Not good for your social status

I'll try the spray, cheers

It's also not nice when you're on your hands and knees in the freshly dug soil...using your hands to break up lumps of clay and removing weeds, bulbs and stones.

Then you suddenly realise that half the cats in the street used your garden last night as a public crap-hole...STINKY PLUS !!!

I thought it was a good thing when cats crapped in the garden as oppose to inside

We have strange cats crapping in our garden - shotgun is next step

Surely you'd have to put a lot of them out there

depending on the size of your garden 3 or 4 should do the trick.

Hate cats. Is it legal to kill them when on your property? The fcukers are always after my pond fish.

I need somethin to keep them and dogs out of my garden, tbh I'd rather not kill them, a cat nearly killed me several years ago as I tried hard to swerve it on a country road. Still ended hitting the little bugger and spent ages trying to find it to help it out.

Is there a device about, electronic or otherwise, that will keep cats and dogs out of my fcuking garden?

You should have just driven straight at it....... after all its a non reportable road accident and they have 9 lives anway!!!

Don't do the same thing with a dog, you will get in a heck of a lot of trouble and due to the size difference your car won't look so hot afterwards!!!
