| Never had any trouble like that myself, live in a block of flats so the closest my cat gets to going outside is sitting on the balcony or the window sill, and so he's always used his litter tray without any problems. Have you tried just not letting them into the garden for a while? Block the catflap or don't open the door for them, depending on how they usually get out. If they have to spend a few days living indoors, they'll presumably have no choice but to use the litter tray (well, that or shit on the floor ), once they've got used to it, try letting them out again, see whether they've got used to using the litter tray. |
