XML Odds feed

Thanks McGin. I have also been after something for a while but dont know if it exists. I suspect not.

Is there a program (preferrably free) that monitors changes of odds and records it in Excel. Like Gruss but with bookies prices. Basically something that can be used to detect market moves with the odds updating in realtime. Thanks

What are you guys using these feeds for? Building your own apps to compare prices or building arb. tools? There's not much else you coudl do is there?

I'm not sure why everyones so cagey about making xml public, I guess anyone could scrape if they really wanted?

The down side to using seperate odds feeds is that they are all in different formats so have to re-write the XML parser in your program many times.

I really need one where the bookies odds are provided in one file or at least multiple files in the same format.

I have been looking at oddsminer.com. Just what i need but very expensive at £280 a month for football feeds for just 8 bookies. Its only really feasable for a commercial program, not for personal use.

Does anyone know a cheaper one?

bit limited in content and price depends on number of bookies and speed of updates but the price was quite reasonable. ( if i recall correctly, been a while since i asked them myself )

Why do u care so much about xml?

Isnt bettet to just go the site and get the lines? since xml line feeds are not LIVE and could be behind by 5+ minutes
