| Hope this is in the correct section .I know a lot of people will be looking at the title of this thread and thinking what an idiot. First things first i do not place bets on this racing but the past couple of weeks i have been intrigued and wondering how it all actually works. By reading a lot of posts by various people, i know amongst us there are people with a lot of knowledge so should be able to answer my questions ![]() Firstly how does virtual horse racing work when it comes to favourites? As i have been looking whilst placing my euro bets i seem to find that the favourite wins in about every 10 races. But how is this favourite generated? Surely if the winner is selected randomly by a computer there would be know favourite because all horses (if you can call them that!) would have an equal chance of winning. But then i was thinking, ok if the winner is not selected by a computer generated machine at random then surely someone knows the outcome of the race before it starts. This would then lead to them making a killing because they obviously cannot place the bet themselves but would share the "winning" tip with others?? Was also chatting to a Chinese man in my local Ladbrokes (whose seems to live their!) that he knows a pattern once in a while to pick the winning horse in 5 races out of 8. He showed me his little pattern. It basically was the first virtual horse race of the day if it was won by the number 6 horse, then the 65/66th race of that day can be picked by him as a winner which then progresses onto the 74th race (8 races in the sequence). At first i took this into account but didnt believe him. Until today that was!. I walked in and the same man once again pulled me aside. He said today the first race was won by the number 6 horse therefore allowing for his little pattern to take place. At the time of me entering the days total racing was on 56. I gave him my mobile number went back to work and told him to ring me when the 65th race was about to start. After waiting until this point i went back into the shop and waited for the race to start. He showed me a list of the horses he had to win in the next 8 races. Some ranged from 3/1 5/1 2/1 5/2 then onto some horses of 16 and 12/1. First race starts and he gets the winner correct at the price of 5/1. With his £10 stake he makes a tidy profit. Basically this continues in the next 8 races where like he said he wins 5 times. I was gob smacked and couldn't believe i had a small wager on it myself. I know also people will be thinking if he knew this was going to happen why didn't he place more than £10 on each horse, the reason for this was is the fact that he didn't know exactly what horses out of the 8 races will win all he knew was that 5 of them would. Overall that is my little story on Virtual Horse Racing. Would be interested in anybody willing to answer my questions and also try to explain how the fcuk this bloke worked out this system. And also how the bookies have not worked it out? Maybe because he says it only happens like once every 3 months! Thanks for your time people ![]()
