This thread is intended as a collection of usefull spreadsheets ( and other tools )

To exchange files we use a Yahoo briefcase.
Goto this site : uk.briefcase.yahoo.com/punterslounge

At the right top click on Sign in and use :
Username: punterslounge
Password: plounge

You can then Add files to the briefcase and download any files already there.

If you have an area of your own where you can put files you are of course welcome to use that.

Datapunters Staking sheet

Here's one of mine, it calculates 4 staking variations on a series of bets.

You enter the bet descriptions, win or lose and the odds.
Once you enter/add the odds the spreadsheet automatically calculates 4 staking variations:
- level stakes
- fixed profit staking
- percentile bank
- fixed profit percentile bank

You can enter:
- a starting bank
- a commision rate
- point size for each staking variation

Lovely spreadsheet datapunter

But one question, is there a way you can apply commission to just a few of the certain bets? I want to enter commission at 5% for some of the betfair bets in a series, but some are with bookies, so obviously i dont want it to take 5% to ALL of the listed bets which gives an inaccurate profit, as does not taking into account the 5% from betfair for a few of the bets.

Hopefully i havn't confused you to much :p

Just downloaded your impressive spreadsheet! What do the columns Fixed Profit and Fixed Profit Percentile Bank mean?

Fixed Profit means you change the stake based on the odds so each winning bet produces the same amount of profit.
( Good for low odds, favourites systems. )

Fixed Profit Percentile Bank, is a combination of Percentile Bank and Fixed Profit. The stake is adjusted to make the same amount of profit on each bet, and that amount is a fixed percentile of the bank. ( just experimenting with this one, rarely used )

Sorry to be a complete dork, but I really know very little about computers:o
Obviously I can surf the net and place my bets, but when it comes to files, documents and downloads etc I don't have a Scooby Doo.

I have downloaded the Datapunter Staking Plan from the link above, but haven't got a clue how to open it.
I know its probably bleedin' obvious, but not if you're a technophobe like me

I have started a new system and want to keep it all neat and tidy, I presume this is a useful tool to have.

Sorry to sound a bit stupid and cheers in advance for any help.

Its an Excel spreadsheet, so you need a PC with Windows and Microsoft Excel. ( Microsoft Excel is the spreadsheet part of Microsoft Office )

If it is installed you can double click the .xls file and the application should automatically open it. Otherwise click on the file and with the right mouse button select "Open", or "Open With" then from the list of programs select Microsoft Excel.
