Default Reverse Tri-cast

When in the bookies, How do I write out a reverse Tricast and how do you work out the staking etc.

I know RFC is like this

1-4 RFC

£1

Total stake £2

Would reverse tricast be like this...

4-5-6 RTC?

£1

Total stake ?

As for the total stake, there is a table somewhere describing the amount of bets. I will try to find it and post it up.

Take number of selections and mulitply by the next two numbers down.

3 = 3 x 2 x 1 = 6 bets

4 = 4 x 3 x 2 = 24 bets

5 = 5 x 4 x 3 = 60 bets

6 - 6 x 5 x 4 = 120 bets

7 = 7 x 6 x 5 = 210 bets

16 horse field = 16 x 15 x 14 = 3360 bets, which is nice if you get 3 x 50/1 shots

And as for writing it out, just put '£(stake) tricast combination' the settler or EPOS will settle it as all reversed. If you understake the bet, it will be proportionally divided, not voided.

If you just put £(stake) Tricast it will be settled as a straight tricast.

In a tricast combination with 3 horses, but one is a non-runner, some shops settle it as void, some settle it as reversed forecast on the two runners, plus 4 void bets.

Always check the shop rules before you bet.

They have to be on display in every shop in the U.K.

Thanks CM, I just put Tricast yesterday.

Luckily they lost as I wouldn't of been collecting either way.
