Anyone else use their site and having problems with them?

The other day I had £40 in my account which I promptly lost! I deposited £100 in tried to put it all on a 3/1 shot only to get a message to the effect of "you're trying to bet £100 but you only have £100.10 in your account. Please deposit another £60." :|

Turns out that no matter what I did the site still assumed I had £40 in there. The bet was not accepted and of course it rolled home by a couple of lengths >: Why no problems when I placed the £40 bet which lost ??:evil

So I contacted them and they said they had had a look and some of my details were missing and they had now sorted it out.

Well today every time I tried to place a bet I got told that I had already put that bet on ! Fcukin ridiculous and even logging out and logging in again had no effect.

Later this just became an error message every time I 've tried to put a bet on. I notice that every time l log on it comes up with an old balance and I have to refresh to get the new one. Likewise some of the races that have already gone off are still up there (and no it doesn't accept the bets on them in fact it's the same message now whether you back a horse that's already run as backing one that's running tomorrow.)

Am I alone in this?

Not placed a bet with them for ages Timmy but nowadays when confronted with such difficulties I just bugger off elsewhere. I spent so much time trying to resolve a problem with Laddie's website,(customer service were not interested, nothing wrong with the site they said, despite the fact I could only view markets when logged out) I vowed never to waste my time again. Never used them since, there are far too many options available.

I can understand if they had the very best odds but surely you can get better odds on Betfair on most nags, with the possible exception of hot favourites?

That's pretty much what's happening to me at the moment, although I must admit I get regular emails from them apologising and asking for more info. Trouble is I've got so many queries with them at the moment I don't know hat one they're referring to!

Thought it might be a problem at work but having gone into the site here at home I was at first presently surprised to see how much I had in the account until I thought the amount looked familiar and realised it was from a few days ago! It really is a laughable performance.

A footnote to this

The actual bet I was trying to put on was £50 ew on an 11/2 shot, (the one I described was a SportingOdds one where the site froze before the confirm screen showed up)

Victor Chandler have now paid up the bet!!!!

Sporting Odds deny there was any problem their end and that they have no record of any such bet. My experience with them before has taught me not to expect anything approaching what anyone else would consider "service" from them.

But Victor Chandler, despite the site problems, have won my heart

had problems with chandler and their crappy site in the past, and stopped using it. started again when they revamped it and its been fine since.

still haven't gone back to the 'click refresh every 3 seconds to make it work' tote tho.
