Is anyone else experiencing these?

I quite often put a few selections in the basket and then tinker about with them to put different combinations in. However just of late it's been a bit frustrating because after I've struck one bet, say a yankee, and want to then put an accy on the same selections, I get told I've already put the bet on. This goes on to happen even if I then pick a different combination of selections. Also today I kept getting a message that the price of one of my selections had changed from Evens to 1/1 .

The help on the site is excellent where you can chat to a live rep, but they're only suggestion seems to be to log off and log on, which would mean reselecting everything, not always the option you want to face when the "off" is at hand.

This one seems to have been going on for ages, but I'm not sure if its to do with the firewall at work. Once I've put my first bet on, the site keeps reverting to showing my balance as it was and not as is, and won't accept the bet unless I refresh virtually every page as I go through. Tonight threw in a little extra whereby as I went through the process of making the bet it logged me off, though fortunately the data remained and I was able to continue by putting in my password and then refreshing the page. Takes ages to put on some relatively simple bets :rolleyes

Also, when selecting a horse at a price in a multibet, and that price has changed in the meantime, it tells you and asks if you want to accept the new price. However whatever you do at this stage has no affect and all your selections are lost and have to be selected again. Again, very frustrating when the "off" is at hand.

I've spoken to VC before about this but nothing seems to have changed, though their attitude was magnificent and I was credited for a bet I was unable to put on that ended up coming in. Needless to say it wasn't one I had tipped

The VC site is riddled with convenient bugs that stop you getting on - not logged in (though you logged in 2 mins ago), price change (only seems to be offered when the price shortens), stake too high (they don't say what their maximum stake is and if all else fails endless spinning wheels/processing difficulties (if your horse shortens you're left in limbo, if it lengthens you're suddenly on at the original price).

Strangely my bets have gone through smoothly and quickly on a couple of occasions. You may say these were on horses trained by a 'happy' HQ trainer that VC has a special relationship with. I couldn't possibly comment.Coincidentally they both put in vary tame performances.........:o >: >: >: >:

Have to agree -- VC can boast one of the ugliest and worst working sites on the web. Sporting odds are not bad for singles, although I haven't bothered to even check their prices very often of late. The basket thing is a never-ending story with them and a very little improvement of this may help their reputation a lot. They seem to concentrate (I mean the owners) on their spread betting operation, though.

Have to agree with you regarding those bugs, i've never had one that's been to my advantage. Their site is so slow that if i'm betting close to the off I go elsewhere.

Personally I can't understand how VC, who are a big Bookmaker, invest so little money in their website. To be honest, it astounds me.

It's because they pay their Call centre staff so much

But about SODDS i log on to their site (I opened an account to take advantage of the free £20 bet on the England game) but it doesn't look like it logs me on so i try and try and try again to log on but all the time i am logged on but the front page hasn't changed>: Not a massive problem but you would think that someone from SODDS would see this and make a comment. All the other books do, like i say it's no biggie but it pi$$e$ me off a little 'cos your mind starts thinking all kind of stuff especially when i read threads like this.
