Sportingbet Account Restrictions

Hi all,

I have had an account firstly with Sporting ODDS and now Sporting BET for over 5 years.

I normally bet on football markets, and football in-running. Two nights ago, I tried to place a £100 bet, and found that my bet was going to be restricted to £6.50. Last night a long odds £5 bet was restricted to £0.62p.

I have been trying to establish if these new restrictions ahave been applied personally against me, or if they are general. I have spoken to several people at Sporting Bet but I have been unable to get a straight answer from them.

Has anyone else noticed, new and severe restrictions, applied in the last week at Sporting Bet?

Aren't sporting odds and sporting bet the same company? I had an account with sporting odds for years and one day woke up to find that they limited my bets to £1 at a time. I couldn't believe it and despite asking several times, I was never given a proper answer. The only option I had (and I guess the same will apply to you) is to stop using them and open another account somewhere else. I've never used them since.

Yep, I got limited on Sporting Bet pretty early on and I hadn't even made any withdrawls.
