Irish, You can post the details of the offer here if it is applicable to all or new accounts. What you can't do is refer users to another site which will earn revenue from the clickthrough. If they want to advertise here they can pay. Unfortunately, the PL cannot join the Ladbrokes affiliate scheme as they do not accept websites based on USA servers. ![]()

Hi Odds, Hmmm......I can understand your reasons for not allowing adverts for bookies who will not allow the PL to be paid for advertising through their affiliate scheme. But, is there not also a responsibility to the members of the PL? It's the members who make it worthwhile for the bookies who do allow payments through their affiliate schemes. Without the members, there would be no payments and ultimately, no PL. If there is an offer/free bet out there, then I'm sure every member on here would want to know about it, affiliate ot not. I thought that was one of the reasons the Bookmakers & Exchanges forum was for? Why will Ladbrokes not allow the PL to take part in the affiliate scheme because its on a US server? Seems a bit short-sighted to me when we've got nearly 4000 members. Its a bit chicken and egg this one isn't it!

They are not against the PL, it is any website based on a server in the USA and about four or five other countries, one of which is Germany. Don't ask me to make sense of it, I can't. No other bookie that I am aware of operates such a restricted affiliate scheme. I did say "probably" to leave the door open and I have yet to make a final decision but I really don't see why they should benefit in any way from the PL for nothing when other companies are willing to allow the PL to participate. I have no problem with mentioning bookmakers that we do not have deal with by choice, just Ladbrokes who refuse to accept us (and obviously many others). If all the websites that are prohibited from joining their affiliate scheme continued to promote them anyway, then nothing will change.
