No Free Bets at SportingOdds.com

BE AWARE that despite various web sites advertising SportingOdds.com as having 2 free 10 pound bets when you open an account and these sites having a link to their site, when you actually open an account you find these offers, convieniently, are no longer active i.e there is no offer.

Despite a lengthly discussion with their customer services department they would not budge. But they did understand that I was frustrated...bless

I am not blaming them for this, it is their choice if they want to entice new customers, and it is their choice how they treat new customers and if they should bend the rules in circumstances like this.

But if it's opening account offers that you are after then I suggest you do not try SportingOdds.com but plump for genuing offers such as Corals Eurobet, Blue Square or Tote Express who all are offereing 10 pound free bets.

I got stung, and am sure I am not alone. Still I have placed my one and only bet with them....let's hope it comes in

Same thing happened with me and Betdaq about a week ago.

A site I was on claimed that you got up to £20 refunded if your first bet lost. I opened an account, laid a horse at about evens, backed it on Betfair and it won. Betdaq also had an offer on their front page - when you match your first £10 they give you £10.

I got my £10 no probs but when I asked for the refund of my £20 they said that the offer had ended and that their offer was now £10 and I had it. I kicked up a little bit of a stink and to be fair to them they compromised and gave me another £10.
