Default Need Advice About Victor Chandler

Ok, I like to have a wager now and then. I open loads of times and when am bored self-exclude myself and move onto the next bookies.

Last week I opened a account online with VC. Lost my first bet but won my second one. The bets were settled and I withdrew the money that I won. The next day I got a e-mail asking for photo ID as most do to prove age - so I sent along the evidence.

A few days later I still never my money. I phoned up and was told would get an e-mail. Apprently I had a VC account before and self excluded myself (I swear i had totally forgotten).

I was able to regsiter with my same details - so not as if I was being sneaky. Anyway, they say there policy is that within six month any self excluded member has their account closed.

This I don't mind. But I won over £200 but they said all transctions and bets (even though been settled and i withdrew the money) will be reversed. Can they do this?

So what they are saying is that if you self-exclude and open another account within six months - if they find out all bets are reversed. SO, if they did not notice for four weeks and I lost £100,000 would they still give my money back - I don't think so.

Also, that case where the geezer tried claiming £2million from William Hill - he was told that all bets he made were valid - surely there is no differnce with my case.

Any advice would be useful lads

It all depends what their rules say in the contract to suspend you, do you have a copy of it?

It is a very grey area.

Thanks for the reply mate. What do you mean by 'contract to suspend you' - not sure what this is

Surely, if this is their ruling if someone else who self excludes bets £10,000 and a 50/50 shot cannot lose. If the result comes in - if VC don't find out you take the money. If you lose you iform you were self-excluded and get a refund- is this not the precedent they are setting by not giving me my winnings.

Well, to self exclude yourself, I assume you agreed to some terms and conditions of what the "self exclusion" states?

You need to find that.

I can help you, even though you're a very new member, which seems to be the fashion in this forum at the moment.

Send your VCBet username and full name to team@punterslounge.com and I'll speak to them tomorrow for you.

Just re-read this.

So you say the money is in your bank account, or is it in your VCBet account?

I put the money in my VC account - i lost my first bet won my second bet - withdrew the money - but VC have voided the withdrawl and cancelled my account. So I only get the money that I intially put in.

So, despite withdrawling the money it will never mreach my account because all bets have been reversed - so my original depsoits will not be taken out my account.

By my calvulation on top of the money I paid in I won £150 - however, as VC have cancelled all my bets (despite them being settled and me requesting a withdrwal) I have lost the £150 profit that i won

The bets should stand, they would not refund you if you had lost 100k like you say, everyones rules (i know of) are "we will make every attempt to stop more accounts being opened when self excluded" and most state they accept no liability if customers do manage to bet when self excluded. Shocking that is imo.

VCBet's exclude terms and conditions are water tight and I have seen this myself - there is no case to be answered as far I'm concerned.

If there was, I would whole heartedly get involved.
