| I want to open up an a/c with Tradesports - they accept Visa, Mastercard, Neteller, FedEx Deposit, $USD Bank transfer and $USD cheque. Erm... I have lots of online a/c's but all are funded by UK Bank Debit Card. I don't own credit cards. My viable options look like the last two - I presume I need to contact my bank to do these - anyone have experience of arranging dollar transfers or cheques? Thnx. |

| I have not done any of these myself but I can tell you that there will be bank charges for both of these options. In addition, you have the exchange rate to consider which if unfavourable at the time of withdrawal can also cost you money. At any rate there will be a currency conversion charge, no doubt. If you expect to make a profit on your account you need to consider how much of that profit will be eroded by the charges. There will also be a charge to make a withdrawal. Of course it will depend on the level you are punting at whether the charges will be a consideration. |
