Default Gamebookers took my deposit twice

Just wondered if this has happend to anyone else I deposited with gamebookers last week and on checking my bank statement it seems they have taken my deposit twice. I emailed and the reply was;

Dear Mr. *******,Thank you for contacting our service team.Please be kindly informed that we have thoroughly verified the matter with our Payments department. Further to this, we would strongly advise you to contact your bank again and ask for the transactions status of the payment in question. We once again assure you that no duplicated transactions have been received here. There has been only one transaction of yours within our payment processor. The only deposit (transaction ID *******) which was received was in the amount of *** GBP and it was immediately credited to your account.We hope the above information has been sufficient for you and wish you best of luck betting with us.Kindest regards,service @ gamebookers

Is there anything I can do.

The customer service from gamebookers sux big time, some of them are not well trained for that, i think i sent them 6 e-mails once regarding a 20 euro bonus. I'd say you check your bank statement and send them a copy if you don't want to lose the money, or else they will never give the money back.

Gamebookers have stolen from me in the past, my advice is not to use them at all.

I had an affiliate account for them through my website, which paid me 30% of the losses of people I referred through the link I think. They didn't know it, but one of the people I referred I knew in person. They altered the stats, because when I checked them they said he'd staked £400 and lost it. When he showed me his account, he'd actually lost £1000. This meant instead of owing me £300, they pretended to only owe me £120, handy for them. If I didn't know the person they'd have got away with it without me ever noticing. I'm sure that they do this all the time too. I emailed about this several times, and they just didn't reply.

This is as well as cancelling winning bets when I used to bet with them at least twice too, and trying to charge me extra to withdraw.

One of the worst bookmakers out there IMO, totally dishonest and willing to steal if they think they might get away with it.

Zonker, you should have told me about that - I would have given them hell if I had known.

I don't like them either to be honest, I get the feeling they are dodgy.

I use then occasionally and during the summer when 1 had not used then for many months they gave me some free money to bet with. When they e-mailed me with this offfer only about £20. I though F**k me I must have a losing account, and they think I'm a mug.. But checking my account was positive. Luckily trebled their free money(I did need to contribute some myself to recieve this freebie) and only used them on the Aussie soccer where the free money compensated for the inferior odds.. Strangely since July have only used twice, they are rarely the best price bookmaker. As I always bet with the bookie that offers the best price and I have about 15 accounts so this in itself is an indiication of their general lack of value..

A couple of weeks ago I saw an ad in the main business weekly newspaper in Bulgaria that Gamebookers were looking to hire young people for their customer service department. I even thought about sending them my CV - just to see a bit of the inside of the company. But in the end decided against it as they are probably not paying enough.
I have little experience in betting with them as they do not work with customers from Bulgaria. I registered with them several years ago, deposited 100 EUR, had a month of losing bets and then decided to try and withdraw some money. They spotted that I had broken their rules, they closed the account but at least they paid out the remaining balance - 60 EUR. So I am not utterly disappointed with them.
