How do ties work?

It says ties pay 10-1 on the board, but whenever I get a tie I just get my normal money.

So if I bet £2, go to war for another £2 and win I get £2 profit, is that right?

I did once bet £2, went to war and got a 2nd tie which I won and got £4, is that right?

What actually pays out 10-1?

You need to specifically bet on the tie, you'll be able to put money down on more than one part of the table, the bet part and then probably inbetween both yours and the dealers cards to bet on the tie.

The only time this game should be played is if you are rolling through a bonus and it has autoplay. Some casinos let you autoplay it (and it counts towards the bonus) for a set number of hands. So you can set it for £1 200 hands and clear the bonus whilst losing a little on average but you do not need to sit there and do it yourself.
