I'm new to this forum and wonder whether any experienced member can recommend anything to do with Betfair. Books or just articles, especially for Football. Thanks.

off the top of my head you could try "the definitive guide to betting exchanges"

it`s part of the racing post expert series and you can buy it through the receform site amongst others.

Have you tried looking at the demo on the betfair home page?

Should explain how to put the bets on and what it all means.

also go to the search option on the blue banner towards the top of this page and click on search, type in "betfair" and have a look through the threads to see if any of it helps.
