Default Betfair help

Hey i'm about to open an account with betfair and need to know what i need to do.
When i deposit money will they suspend my account until i provide proof of age as this is what i have been told.what will they accept as proof of age?a scan of my passport or what?
Anything else i need to know or anything i need to look out for as i have been reading a few dodgy threads about betfair on this forum.

Thanks,puntingmad.

Don't bet on a football coupon with Betfair, under any circumstances. Their coupons are sert up to lose you money. They try and see where the money is, and offer you the crapest coupon possible.

Why pick on Betfair? All football coupons are designed to take your money.

Me neither.

Without trying to sound zenophobic, why is it that all the 'problems' in this part of PL are from non-UK accounts/members.

Are they treated different to UK customers?
