You're not alone Frisky. There was complete rage on the Betfair forums in the 40 mins before the plug was finally pulled. Apparently this happened last week as well but I didn't experience that outage myself.

The site is an absolute shambles and this is the 2nd or 3rd time in the past week. Many people are outraged and it is truly shocking that a site of that nature can not control or run it properly. It is a complete shambles. The customer service team didnt even recognise there was a problem last week and no-one was told a thing. This costs a lot of people a lot of money and on such a big night it is a disgrace. Betdaq etc provide a much better service but I miss the API's etc that you can get with Betfair.

The link on the page saying it is down doesnt even worse. Not a fcukin clue. Oh well not to worry, they will prob have another prize draw as a consolation like last time. Fcukin joke.

Totally agree, getting ridiculous, every know and again is annoying but acceptable - 3 times in a week - at crucial times is just pathetic.

I will say here and now that if Zenit win tonight overall, it will cost me large sums of money, even more if they win in 90 minutes.

Cant bet anywhere else as deposited all the money into Betfair today so I could place these bets.

Hopefully the markets will come back in running so I can get them on, but if not ......

Even their Service page is never updated - what is the point in having one if nearly 1 hr after the problems first start, you say your site has no reported issues? They seemed to have pulled the plug on this too now.

Given the amount of money that flows through the site, the Gambling Commission should investigate because people will be losing a lot of money from this (horse races were open for betting but never turned in-play without any warning).

Someone mentioned over the weekend that the change in processing of bets for foreign accounts to their Malta centre happened exactly the same day as their site went down first time. Coincidence?
