Betbutler (UK bookmaker and exchange) bent?

They have shut down their site on 22nd September with no explanation. It says on their site that you can still withdraw but I cant as it comes up that my account is "not open for withdrawals"! They also aren't replying to Emails. There is no phone number given on their site.

Anybody have any experience with this crowd? Have they been around long? They are registered in the UK.

I have an account with them and was able to withdraw my money through Moneybookers after that message on their site saying they are quitting and received it ok.

When I tried to withdraw for the first time, several months ago, I got an automated message saying I needed to send them a mail concerning the bonus rollover.
I send the mail and got a reply saying my account was now opened for withdrawals and after that I have made several withdrawals from them through Moneybookers.

Maybe you are getting the "not open for withdrawals" message because you haven´t fullfilled their bonus rollover yet and because of this your account hasn´t been opened for withdrawals by them yet.

Of course since they are now quitting they should have opened all the accounts for withdrawal.
Since I got my money ok, I don´t think they will run away with anyone´s money, but it is of course difficult to sort this situation out if they don´t reply to e-mails.

Hopefully this will get sorted out soon so you can receive your money.

Betbutler has been taken over by Danbook.

I got this e-mail from them:


" As many people have seen on http://www.betbutler.com/, Betbutler has shot down for operations.
Last week, Betbutler and Danbook then came to an agreement in order for Danbook.com to take over all client accounts from Betbutler. This includes off course your account balance as well.
In this mail you will get some information on how to log in to your Danbook account, which is ready for you.

1. You will find Danbook at http://www.danbook.com/
2. Your account has been created with same username and password as you used at Betbutler
3. The first time you log on, you will have to fill in missing data and accept terms and conditions of Danbook.com
4. If your Betbutler account was not in DKK, USD or EUR, then your account will now be in EUR converted by rates delivered by European Central Bank
5. Your account will then be active, and you can find further information on how to wager at Danbook in our help section at http://www.danbook.com/page/rules/. "
