Bet 365, please help!

Bet 365 made a major mistake with the football match between FC Zwolle and Go Ahead Eagles today. They had the match open until 5pm, when in actual fact the match started at 1.30pm. I took full advantage of this by firstly placing a small bet when the match was in running, (I placed it on Zwolle as they were leading 2-1), however when I reckoned the match must be over at around 3.15pm, I placed an extremely large bet.

It went through fine and after a very nervous wait, Zwolle actually won the match. However I have just noticed that my 2nd bet was returned to me and I got my original stake back without my winnings. It does say in my bet result "to run". What makes it worse is that the small bet I placed halfway through this match is in the unsettled bet column, as is the bet that I placed on Friday for this match.

I am fairly new to betting, but I feel like I am entitled to my winnings because it's not my fault that they messed up the time of the match and they should pay for it. I have read through their site and there are no terms and conditions which would save them on this occasion.

I'd like to ask for advice before getting in touch with them to complain and to try and get my winnings.

I think this comes under what they term 'palpable error', i.e. if it's an obvious mistake (such as this) they'll void the bet.
Nice try, but if they've refunded your money i'd just put it down to experience.

Paul is right Jambo, "palpable error" gets the bookies out of major shit all the time.

surely you really didn't expect to be paid out on a footy match which had already been played. bet365 are good but even they wouldn't pay out on that!
