| If you're in Britain, you can only bet around £100 maximum on a single bet. They charge you when you deposit by credit card. Elsewhere they're good. They tell me that I can always ask them if you want to bet higher. But I've asked several times, they never agreeded. So I just stopped asking. DBDF, can you get a higher limit from them? |

| Pretty certain I've been able to get over £200 on in the past but as I don't often bet over £100 anyway I can't recall their limits being much of a nuisance. For me the most important thing is that they're such quick payers. |

| I opened an account with Nordicbet about 10 months ago, and straight away my bets were cut to 50 quid max. I emailed in to ask them to review my account, as I was a fairly new customer. (The reply I got was in Norwegian which I got a friend to translate...but nevertheless they had agreed to increase my risk to arounds 100-150 quid)To cut a long story short the next couple of months, I did them over for quite a bit a money on mainly futsal, handball props & biathlon, next thing I knew my bets were right back down to around 20 quid, again I emailed in with the same issue, but this time they refused to comment on my limits. Obviously stopped betting with them now, shame really.... Think they maybe a little sceptical of British punters betting on their sports ![]() |

| Hmmm. This correspondence bwteen me and Nordicbet, to me is peculiar...they probably think I'm a fraudster or something. Cheers for that, Nordicbet. ![]() E-MAIL ONE: Credit card deposit declined...three times. Please advise. The error message that pops up is: Secure authentication (Verified by Visa/Mastercard SecureCode) failed; contact the issuing bank or finance@nordicbet.com if the problem persists Not sure why (could be because it's a newly opened Lloyds TSB Clicksafe account) having gone through the Lloyds TSB Clicksafe procedure (it's the right password I'm putting in and I've been to my Account Manager over there just to make sure). Please advise. THEM ONE: This is because we have started with a new securitysystem which is called "Verified by Visa". You have to contact your bank so they can help you with that. E-MAIL TWO: Are debit cards OK as a deposit method? I was wondering (about debit cards) and I couldn't see it as an option on the 'Deposit Info'. Are they subject to the same 1.5% processing fees that credit cards are? Please advise. THEM TWO: We have temporarily closed your credit card for further use. Please send us the following documents and we will then be able to open your card again: - Copy of your credit card. Front and back. - Copy of your driving licence/passport. Front and back. - Copy of a utility bill that shows your physical address. - Copy of your bank statement showing your transaction(s) to NORINVEST. EDIT: Have to laugh about this at the end of the e-mail. | Hmmm. Well I'm still not happy. I've tried a further two times to deposit money and then contacted Lloyds through their 0845 number and Lloyds tell me even though the verification process below shows five attempts by me to deposit the money into Nordicbet (it shows up on their system), there have been no attempts by Nordicbet to withdraw the money from my credit card. Lloyds are saying that if Nordicbet try to withdraw £50 five times I shouldn't worry and that I could dispute it and recover the money and fees as long as I send Nordicbet an e-mail outlining what happened, what I want happening and what I've done (rung Lloyds about it like Nordicbet told me to). Nordicbet are saying I should contact Lloyds. Lloyds are saying that the problem isn't their fault. Glitch in the system then. ![]() ![]() EDIT: Been half-an-hour and I've got no e-mail reply. This isn't like Nordicbet. What a difference six or seven weeks can be (I didn't have this probem six or seven weeks ago when I deposited through the very same credit card...no verification process for one thing).
