Default Advice on bookmakers taking big bets

Hi, I'm interested in peoples thoughts/experiences on bookmakers taking large bets (probably 4 figures) and has anyone been unable to get bets on because of limits? I'm thinking of betting on multiples (will this help me get decent stakes on; I'm not going to be seen as someone would is arbing taking the best price on a single selection) on pretty heavy favourites in tennis. So I'm looking to these companies who void on retirements (or at least after 2 sets in one case):

William Hill
Stan James
VC
Paddy Power
Bet direct
Tote
Bet365
UK betting
Pinnacle

Thanks for you thoughts

They will all limit you eventually if you are a winning punter except pinnacle in my experience. Pinnacle manage their markets rather than their customers.

How quickly you get limited depends on how much you win and how quickly

Hills have banned me altogether and I think all the rest have limited me to ridiculously small amounts except stanjames and paddypower (where it is only certain markets). I found bet365, ukbetting and vcbet to be quickest to apply limits to my accounts.

Paddys and Stanjames are the best (bar pinnacle) out of the ones you've listed in my experience. Hills are a joke.

I was limited and complained, got it removed and compensation when an online bookmaker (name no names)said that "i was betting high amounts at questionable prices and required investigation".

I opened account, deposited £500

Placed it on a double £250 e/w and one won at 16/1 and one was second at 8/1.

Next bet was £500 win at 6/1 (drifted from 3s)

Next bet was £500 e/w on 10/1 which finished 4th (paying position)

I complained to the financial regulatary authority (not directly to betting company/betting regulators) and got my solicitor to send them a letter.

Why can't i bet at prices they show, under their initial limits and then get closed down because i win - the solicitor claimed that they would have taken the money if i lost and should have contacted me after the bet was placed (they had reasonable time to do so). I WIN!

Just go to a High Street bookies buttno.

You could even wear a 118-118 moustache and a Brian May wig like Slapdash does if you think they're getting to know you.

Sometimes that's me. But sometimes I'm the elderley chain-smoking alcoholic who stands right in front of the TV screens shouting "Go on my Son" whilst secretly watching you struggle under the weight of that Paul Daniels hair-piece and Britt Ekland eye-lash extensions. You're not fooling anyone with your cross-dressing you know.
