Merlin, surely the +2's yield would have went up if your two +2 selections both won in the last games of the season?

..... don't quite understand the question there young fella, I'm only involved with +3 and beyond and stopped selections with a few weeks left of the season to avoid the silly season and the results that very often accompany it.There are too many uncertainties around at that stage of the season.

Apologies Merlin i was asking the question to Clarky but put the wrong name down.

As much as i enjoy a nice summer i can't wait until we get to September so we can get moving again on the various systems on here.

As promised i shall be joining you both with an EPL Under system that provided a yield of 9.7% last season.

Cheers.

Ok gents, i'm starting my EPL unders from Week 1.

As mentioned previously i had a nice return last season on backing the Under 2.5 goals for EPL games predicted to end in a draw on the MW sheets.

3 games have been flagged up for the opening weekend,

DateSelectionStakeDec Odds
15-AugChelsea Hull £ 2.50 2.408
15-AugPompey Fulham £ 2.50 1.724
15-AugSpurs L'pool £ 2.50 1.9

..... wish you luck young fella, but's it's a brave man who goes in this soon. I like to let the dust settle first, so it's six games before you will see any 3-0 system predictions.

Disappointing start with only 1 out of 3 games going under. even more disappointing was that Chelsea scored the third goal of the game in injury time!!!!!

staked £7.50
returned £4.31
yield -42.5%

Early days
Back with midweek games later

Nice one Barrhead, I think the Unders bets could be interesting, I might have a bash myself at something like that, be warned though as you've seen, those late goals of which there are a lot will break your heart over and over throughout the season, best not to look at the results until the matches are over, then you're spared the agonies of seeing those Unders turn to overs.

Merlin, do you have any data regarding your not getting involved until the seventh match of the season or is it just common sense thinking? I thimk I may have asked you this last season but don't remember. I've got last seasons stats for the 5 English Leagues so I'll try and have a look how the early games went. I was going to start doing the previous seasons' sheets and recording the data to look at but the first one I tried I messed up as there's no way of verifying the results you're entering until you get near the end and look at the League table and if you've messed up early on in the season then all the data is effectively inaccurate, so I've given up for the time being. Hope everyne on this thread is in good form and I look forward to the new seasons selections, winners and profits!
