Looks as though the weekend did bring some 'luck'. Sunday appearing to be particularly 'lucky'.

Nice weekend for the draw picks, well done

Thanks Darth Nader for the encouraging words... it's nice to see somebody is watching this thread apart from Merlin and myself

Sunday was a good day, with 50% strike rate on the 6 selections. Overall, the weekend was not bad with a 13% return. However, I'm beginning to have second thoughts about the staking system - the 2.0 stakes performed worse than the 1.0 stakes, adversely affecting the overall performance. I will stick with it for a couple of more rounds - if things don't improve, I will revert to the flat-staking system.

The up-to-date figures for the X-picks are;

No. Bets208
Strike Rate 37.5%
Staked230.0
Returned277.2
Yield 20.5%

.... and remember, these figures are based on Bet365 odds - significantly better yield could be achieved using the exchanges, although the necessary liquidity may not be there on the lower leagues for the big-spenders amongst you .

I will post the mid-week X-picks tomorrow

Hiya Grex & Merlin, i've got the MW spreadsheets as well so i've been watching your picks with intrest & from last weekend started on the away wins in the English leagues which by the way came in at 50%,so i'm going to look at that,but without cluttering your thread or any bandwagon jumping.Keep up the good work boys, i'm always watching & will pop up now & again

Hey Grex, it's encouraging to see the x picks showing such a positive yield after more than 200 bets and without neccessarily quoting the 'best available' odds.

A good sign I'm sure, it'll be interesting to see how these picks hold up as the season progresses, if they continue to perform at near the level they have to date then.....
