| Not quite a system, but a heads up !! If you are betting on Euro 2008 games while in-play with Betfair this may be of use. I was in-play betting watching the game on Freeview and found that the Freeview transmissions are 4 seconds behind what Befair are seeing. How do I now this ? The Betfair market was suspended 4 seconds before I saw Sweden score, indicating that the man at Betfair with the suspend button was watching transmissions 4 seconds ahead of me. If you also add the 5 seconds in-play bet placement delay, it means that if you are watching the match on freeview and place a bet, your bet will be placed a total of 9 seconds behind the current state of play. Does anyone know what the delay on other transmission sources is ? Like Virgin media, sky and analogue? |
