The panic is setting in nicely now with the drop approaching, and the sides down there are fighting for their lives

Chester 3-2 Notts Co Odds 2.30
Cambridge 2-1 Wycombe 2.70
Kidderminster 0-0 Rushden 2.10

I'm considering on a bet on Cambridge to stay up as their home form is impressive of late

Starting bank: 100 units
Current bank: 108.48 units
Profit/Loss: +8.48 units
Total staked: 48 units
Yield: +17.67%

Christianu - I haven't the stats to prove it, though I did run this system from early Jan 03 to mid march 03and was in profit then. I'm pretty sure that in recent years these scrappers do win their fair share of home games in the final run in.

Can't believe we've won 3 home games on the spin, hoping for number 4 on Saturday against an inconsistent Bristol Rovers side.

Kiddy pretty much in last chance saloon this weekend, and Yeovil have only a couple of wins in last 6. Could be interesting

16 Apr-15:00 Kidderminster v Yeovil 3.50
16 Apr-15:00 Rushden & D'monds v Boston Utd 2.10

16 Apr-15:00 Kidderminster v Yeovil 3.50 1-1
16 Apr-15:00 Rushden & D'monds v Boston Utd 2.10 4-2

Starting bank: 100 units
Current bank: 118.40 units
Profit/Loss: +18.40 units
Total bets: 35
Total staked: 70 units
Strikerate: 17/35 = 48.57%
Yield: +26.29%

This could tail off now, as it looks like Kiddy and Cambridge are pretty much down. From now on if a team is mathetically safe or already down then they will be removed from the system

frustrating end to the current season. Kiddy were pretty much down, and Rushden pretty much safe, but for the system both bets had to go in

Kiddy 1-4 Grimsby
Rushden 0-1 Cambridge 0-1

Starting bank: 100 units
Final bank: 110.40 units
Profit/Loss: +10.40 units
Total bets: 39
Total staked: 78 units
Strikerate: 17/39 = 43.59%
Yield: +13.33%

MattyNeth
New to this forum, but a pretty good punter (grandfather was a bookie, so I guess it is genetic ) Seriously though, I have been browsing through the S&S forum and I saw this system. Have you considered any other relegation battles in general with other English divisions or other Euro leagues (I am not aware of any other relegation to semi--pro Conference type situations around Europe/World, but they would be worth considering too).

Time to revisit this for 2006, after a profitable 2005. System backs any team in the bottom 4 of the Div.2 when at home.

Odds to follow

Two for this weekend

Stockport
vs
Lincoln
Torquay
vs
Leyton Orient
