Unable to save image - The Punters Lounge

I'm new and tryingto upload a picture to my profile in the "User CP" area, but I get a message saying "Unable to save image" although the image is within the size requirements. Can someone suggest a resolution, please

Ta. I will do but I have tried with several images, both jpeg and gif with same result. They are certainly not too big. I thought it might be a server side error, but cant be sure.

I think the dimensions displayed say a max of 120x120? That's wrong I think - needs to be max 80x80. (unless you're an admin/mod)

Ah - sorry - 150x150.

It says the same (I think) for us mortals but I think we're restricted to 80x80 (I might try bigger later, just to find out once and for all)

got a sneaky suspicion it may have something to do with file upload privileges,
which i have set to become available only when one reaches 50 posts,
but don't know if that affects avatars.

HEY, i got the same error message "upload of file failed" but apparently it actually did work

strange one, stripped datapunter2 of all privileges and didn't get any error.

are you talking about a "profile picture" or an "avatar picture" ?

I can do an Avatar with "Edit avatar" but i can't do a profile picture with "Edit profile picture".

You sure you want a profile picture ?
Don't think anyone uses that

Even as moderator i'm getting "unable to save picture" with the "Edit profile picture" option.

Yes. indeed. I saw the Edit Profile first so just assumed to try that. Thanks for the help.
