Default New here - noob question

Hello guys...i'm new here and i don't understand something at soccer betting:

For example, lets take this match from Brasilia secound league:

Home Draw Away
CA Bragantino v Ipatinga FC (01:00 BST) 2 3.3 3.6

I know the odds,it bet,but at each match i see guys posting something like this:

''Agree on Ipatinga +0.25 @ 1.98'' and i really don't know what the '+0.25' stands for...or '+0.5-1' or '+2'.... why not, @2 3.6 on Ipatinga?

That's asian handicap, which is a slightly more complicated way of betting. Decent explanation here http://www.soccerpunter.com/asianhandicap.php (first result on a google search)
